Edward Jones (b.2001) is a Manchester-based British photographer, having completed a BA Hons in Photography from Manchester School of Art, he is undertaking an MA in Documentary Photography
at the University of South Wales.
Jones is motivated by frustration at the unjust political and social systems of the modern day and the resulting impact of top down power structures enforced by late stage capitalism and populism. He is interested in how these issues impact on the small person, national identity and the landscape. Jones seeks to use a range of photographic approaches as a way to visualize and interrogate these concerns, providing new information and perspective to viewers.
